Ski Antillanca

On the hillsides of the Casablanca Volcano, a thousand meters MSL, there stands Antillanca winter resort, just 98 kilometers away from the City of Osorno.

In the Mapuche tongue, "Antillanca" stands for "jewel of the sun" and that was the name chosen by Club Andino de Osorno to name this treasure. Its snow is excellent, both on the trails and in the off-piste areas, surrounded by forests of coihue and lenga trees.
The winds coming from the Pacific Ocean make the snow cumulate on the mountain range thus keeping the volcano slopes covered with snow from June to October.

The geographic features of Antillanca are ideal for snowboarding. In fact, sharp-edged Mounts Haique and Mirador, as well as the extreme descents on the Casablanca and Taza, are renowned among the most daring snowboarders in Chile.

Sponsored by the FIS, international competitions involving various disciplines take place on these trails.
Inside Antillanca ski resort, five lifts for beginners and experts take skiers to fourteen trails with incredible snow and various degrees of difficulty.
Likewise, Antillanca concentrates restaurants, cafeteria, ski schools, equipment rental and repair shop, boutique, playroom, micro-cinema, sauna, heated swimming-pool, daycare and disco.

How to Get There:
Travel 98km eastwards along International Route 215 starting at the City of Osorno. If coming from Argentina, it lies just 30 km away from the border. Through Puyehue International Pass, open year round, Villa La Angostura lies at the same latitude as Puyehue and Bariloche is located 190 km away.

Season:
From mid June to mid October.

The winter resort opens from 9am to 5:30pm.
