Nevados de Chillán

There is a promised land where winter sports may be combined with hot spring waters. And that place is Chillán.
Nevados de Chillán Mountain Resort lies 194 kilometers to the east of the city of Concepción, where its volcano and its hot spring waters share the same origin and co-exist in harmony.

Standing at a height of 1,650 meters MSL, the ski resort offers 10,000 hectares suitable for the practice of winter sports.
This center boasts the longest trail in South America, which measures exactly 13 kilometers of length and is called Las Tres Marías. Nevados de Chillán offers a 35-kilometer skiable surface and an ideal scene that is completed by a snow park with half pipe, quarter pipe, fun box and jump, as well as by snowmobile and dog-sled circuits that guarantee visitors they will enjoy snow no matter what discipline they choose.
Expert skiers have the heli-skiing alternative, which also includes the feeling of having flown in a helicopter while observing the panoramic sights of the mountain range.

How to get there:
Chillán lies in the Bío Bío Region, 194 km east of Concepción, and 407 km away from Santiago de Chile.

Season:
Chillán's hot springs are open year round. The ski season lasts from May to October.

Timetable:
The ski resort is open from 9am to 5pm.
