Chef Rafael Figueroa has been behind the main restaurant at Portillo for more than 12 years. Nestled in the mountain, Tío Bob's restaurant is a mandatory midday stop that suggests grilled meat and fish with various kinds of salad.

Another attraction of the ski resort is El Bar, which invites visitors to taste sandwiches, appetizers and specially fondues in the evenings, around its fireplace or at the bar.
