The diverse temperatures of the pools favor inner balance, rest and the relief of muscular stress. Therapies are individual and must be revised with a specialist.

Huife Hot Springs - Villarrica

The hot spring range located in the region known as Araucanía treasures Huife Spring Resort, which stand out among the first class venues that have succeeded in taking advantage of the beneficial waters provided by the soil. This is an ideal space to leave the typical stress of big cities behind and let the body cleanse itself and tone up.

The journey from Villarrica is quite pleasant, especially the last stretch, which crosses extremely neat green meadows and hills. Once at the venue, we caught a nice view of its four outdoor hot spring pools located in a clearing surrounded by thick vegetation and the Liucura River, which passes by the venue and ornaments it with its sound.

We changed our clothes and devoted ourselves to enjoying those pools with a dark rocky bottom and different temperatures. We were advised on how long to stay at each of them. We should start by the coldest ones and move onto the warmer ones. Likewise, we were supposed to have a rest at the comfortable deck chairs under the parasols every now and then. Some people have a short bath in the cold waters of the river in between immersions in order to enhance blood circulation.

Afterwards, we moved onto the hydrotherapy pool, where new physical sensations await. We tried the bubble bed, the cervical massage cascade and swimming upstream. All of them ensured healing effects that are perceived immediately. Also, it was necessary for us to have a rest at the deck chairs every now and then. As we left that place, we were feeling totally fulfilled. Our body could not be more relaxed.

We were shown the area of the spa where expert hands offer other relaxing techniques based on mud and algae therapy. A restaurant and coffee house serve a complete menu for those who choose to spend the day or stay at the cabins located in the surroundings.

The area offers the chance to go hiking along paths of various levels of difficulty that lead to the native forest. The aroma of cinnamon and myrtle trees invades the venue making everyone feel part of nature.

In addition to the physical and mental welfare provided by this harmonious setting, we were aware of the fact that the organization guarantees responsible policies regarding the use of natural resources.

Back in Villarrica, at night and ready for bed, we appreciated the experience we had enjoyed during that day. We surely left behind the natural tiredness in order to start a new day with renovated energy.
